The eWicht project
This project implements a client for model railroad server systems like SRCP or Rocrail© on an embedded PIC based handheld platform.
Connected to a model railroad server, which controls a railroad arrangement, it is a fully featured handheld controller:
- Ethernet device with tiny TCP/IP stack
- Integrated webserver
- Multicast DNS functionality
- Power supply via the Ethernet connection (PoE - 802.3af)
- Extensive settings
- Usage of unlimited throttles in parallel
- Simple control concept
- Control of any loco decoder
- Control of any accessory decoder
- Integrated database for storing locos and accessories (SRCP)
